Giulia D’ESPOSITO

Strongly drawn to different forms of the contemporary and of visual culture, she moved from Rome to Venice to study multimedia arts. During her studies she explored experimental and documentary cinema, critical writing and digital aesthetics. Her work in the art field so far has ranged from cultural mediation for the Venice Art Biennale, to curating visual and performing arts festivals, to her most recent experience as production assistant at the gallery and studio Mare Karina. Her research focuses on the exhibition space, where absence, displacement and invisibility become active forces in shaping perception.
