Thinking of exhibition making as an act of assembly of notions, peoples and histories? Ça va waka in Cameroonian pidgin and Franglais means ‚all will be good’ and from that same context, a popular phrase upon farewell is "on est ensemble" or "we are together" – an almost frantic invocation and incantation of an eminent (re-) assembly. This lecture addresses the question of space and assembly in a world of movement. Thirdspace – the space in flux – is a continually and rapidly changing ‘lived/social space’ of experientiality, that goes beyond its mere physicality and conceptualisation as a space. And what does this mean for curatorial spaces and assemblies?
